Rev. 8/19/06 Co-Pastors' Greeting On behalf of the congregation of First Presbyterian Church, we welcome you to our website. First Presbyterian has a long history in the city of Albany (which has an even longer history). Rev. Glenn Leupold and Rev. Dr. Miriam Lawrence Leupold Established in 1763, First Presbyterian has been an active leader in the community, ministering to the needs of people both in the neighborhood and around the world. We are a congregation that works for peace and justice in our society. Our Mission Statement defines First Presbyterian as an inclusive church that "welcomes persons of differing abilities, of all economic and ethnic groups, of any sexual orientation, to share with us the joy, the power, the challenge of God's good news in Jesus Christ."
