A Day for Dancing
Join us Sunday evening, December 19th at 7:30 p.m. for A Day for
Dancing - featuring the Chancel Choir, Liturgical Dancers and
Instrumental Ensemble. Composer Lloyd Pfautsch presents nine
carols with a Medieval twist.
You may recognize some of the timeless melodies, but their complex
rhythms, syncopation and accompaniment will take you to a new place,
as you await the coming of the Christ Child.
A Day for Dancing requires dancing to capture the expression
and jubilation of anticipated joy. It also requires an animated
conductor. Will Victor Klimash be up to the challenge?

The Advent Vespers Service also features a challenging a capella
piece - Francis Poulenc's O Magnum Mysterium.
Join us after the Vespers Service for egg nog and home-made cookies.
They're not just for jolly old elfs.
Can't wait? Then join the Chancel Choir every Sunday morning at the
10:45 service! Who knows, there may be dancing!
Oh yes, our annual Christmas Eve Service will be held at 6:00
p.m., December 24th. Right on schedule. |
