Under Nancy Samson's expert guidance, the Youth Group prepared
Jambalaya, Spice Cake and Salad for the guests of the overflow
shelter at First Lutheran.
They met before AND after the service on Sunday to prepare the
ingredients: chicken, sausage, rice, bell peppers, onions and Nancy
Samson's special blend of Louisiana seasonings.
Youth Group members Hannah, Chenusa, Annie, Waaik, Dustin and Joe
assembled the main dish, jambalaya, a salad with fresh grape
tomatoes contributed by the Christian Education Committee, and spice
cakes for dessert. |
