DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Join the Mission Committee for Adult Education in January - when we
explore the problem of domestic violence in our community. Come to
our three Sunday morning programs (9:30 am) for questions and answers. |
 |
What is it? Domestic violence is abuse (physical, emotional,
economic, sexual or psychological) by a person in close relationship
with the abused (spouse, friend, housemate, relative,
boyfriend/girlfriend, former lover). The common link among all types
of domestic violence is the abuser's need to dominate and control the abused.
